On very short notice, Katia was able to help us with our newborn baby on nights and not only allowed my husband and I to get some much needed rest, but gave us so many helpful tips and tricks when it came to feeding, burping, and sleeping.  Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We decided on bringing on a Doula quite late in the pregnancy and wow what a great decision it was. We were so very lucky to have Katia by our sides.

From our first at home meeting and hours of learning about labour, to many messages and calls whilst we were waiting for the little one’s arrival.

But nothing prepared us for what a crucial role she will play during the labour and delivery. From explaining all steps during our induction, making sure we were confident with all decisions, to holding my hand during contractions, the best calming massages and hair brushing, and also most importantly - giving my husband breaks to be able to have a breather and leave the room. I absolutely can’t imagine how different of an experience we would have had without her by our sides.

Katia is the most hands on, loving and grounded person to have as your Doula. If you have any doubts on bringing someone on - DO IT!

Conrad is very lucky to have Aunty Katia as part of his family forever (and so are we!).

She provided one prenatal meeting that was educational and left me feeling confident and well-prepared going into labour. Leading up to delivery, she was always available to answer my questions and concerns, and was consistently responsive over both phone and text, which gave me so much reassurance.

During labour, Katia was there when I needed her. Her ability to provide physical pain support and more importantly, keep me calm and grounded, truly stood out. I felt safe, supported, and cared for.

After my C-section, she followed up promptly to check in on me and my family, which I really appreciated. That level of continued care meant a lot during recovery.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with Katia. From the very beginning, she was incredibly responsive and supportive, always making herself available to answer questions, talk through concerns, and provide reassurance whenever we needed it. Her knowledge and guidance throughout pregnancy, labor, and postpartum were invaluable.

During labor, her calm presence, warm energy, and knowledge and experience made such a difference. We were on the OB side at MSH and paired with an inexperienced nurse (only 3-4 months post graduation), and the nurse was the only one available to us from the hospital throughout the labor. Katia made a crucial difference in helping us feel confident, informed, and supported at every step. She advocated for us when necessary, and created an environment where we felt safe and empowered. Not only that, she was critical in ensuring my labor progressed. I give her full credit for ensuring that I had such a positive delivery experience, the experience truly would have been disastrous without her.

However, Katia's support didn’t stop after the birth. Postpartum, she continued to check in, offer practical help and thoughtful advice, and provide the kind of encouragement that we as new parents really needed. She has such a natural way with babies. Our little one clearly adores her, and so do we!

We are incredibly grateful for her care, compassion, and expertise. If you are considering working with a doula, we wholeheartedly recommend her. She is truly exceptional and made one of the most important experiences of our lives even more special.
