I dedicated 5 years to private palliative care which nurtured my coaching and leadership skills to provide comfort and guidance during life-changing challenges.  Actively listening to the families I supported enabled me to identify their immediate and long-term needs so I could best support them. The decades of supporting coworkers, friends, and family to be the best that they can be across both my corporate and health professions have guided me to discover my life’s passion as both an Educator and Birth/Postpartum Doula.  

If you were to ask my family and friends to describe me, you may hear “natural nurturer”, “empathetic”, or my personal favourite, “ The Sleep Whisperer”. Then in 2023, I was blessed to participate in the births of several of my grandchildren. These innate traits and transformative personal experiences supported me in empowering numerous families on their own birth and postpartum journeys.

Parents deserve to choose their unique birth experience with ease, safety,  and without judgement. This is a fact that I believe in and faithfully advocate for. 

This is truly my life’s passion.  

I feel this genuine love for providing comfort and knowledge to families enables me to be the best I can be. 

My goal and desire is to educate and empower parents so they can create the best birth experience in the way they envision it. It is a privilege for me once I am invited into this sacred chapter of each family’s experience.
